A ground-based version of the aviation thread in the GA forum.

Four ground vehicles, cost a maximum of £5 million the set

1) Sunday morning hooning locally
2) A fast run down to Bordeaux
3) A daily driver for a big city
4) The electric one to salve your conscience

My garage looks like this

1) Ducati 1198S
2) Porsche 911 GT3 (991.2)
3) Porsche 911 Carrera GTS (991.2)
4) Tesla Model S

I am happy to loan either of the Porsches out as a temporary swap with anyone with a V12 Aston (not flappy roofed) in their garage

1. Saga's (the Swedish one, not the old fogeys) 911, but would need a re-spray first
2. Sean Connery aka James Bond's Aston Martin DB5
3. David Niven aka James Bond's Bentley Blower
4. Maigret's Traction Avant ( )

1) Toyota MR2
2) Jaguar S type or XF, diesel
3) What?! No. Just no. If I had to drive around a city, probably one of those electric things like a Leaf of one of those things Riverrock has if I can fit in it.
4) See 3. Or a Tesla Model S.

I'd be happy to substitute an Aston Martin DB-whateverthelatestis for (2) if someone else is paying the petrol bills.

1. Triumph Stag*
2. Porsche 928 - it wasn’t the best GT,but.
3. Pristine Austin Mini Cooper S
4. Tesla X

*I was no fan of Triumph BITD, but there are plenty of them on the road, parts are being remanufactured, and to be honest - roaring around in a V8 that hardly produces 140 bhp, but looks fun and sounds the part checks most of the boxes.

Four isn’t enough and a “fast run to Bordeaux” is only going to gather speeding tickets.

I was thinking of a fantasy crypt thread but (a) I can only think of two not three people whom i would like culled and put inside and (b) not sure it would last long unlocked
Ps: later edit- just thought of a third!

D Type Jaguar for all purposes except the electric one.

Nissan Leaf would do for that.

If I could afford a D Type (drove one once) it wouldn’t spend much time in the garage and could easily be my daily driver.
