On the subject of RyanAir, I was talking to a former Rayanair pilot the other day, who quoted having to pay for a drink whilst fly for them as on of the many reasons he left.

You' would be acting outside the privileges of your licence and therefore it could not count and you would be liable to prosecution. :D


In this (imaginary) scenario, I would think the PPL pilot would have to be talked down by a suitably trained ATPL pilot (familiar on type!) who, lets say, is also a training captain.

Therefore this would be a training flight, just like my solo circuit and QXC flights were (all logged as P1).
Though, If the pilot talking you down is not an instructor - would they be liable to prosecution? :roll:
