Some nice pics.

#1 explains alot, from the position of that flooding Chris and I would have been under that big black bit when we did a 180 before heading off south and getting in to Tibinham that way.

Might have some pics myself but left the camera in CH

I left my camera in the aircraft at Tibenham, but took this one on the way home.

After waiting for the fog to clear at Bournemouth, I set off towards Tibenham, anticlockwise around London.

Image

Approching the Thames estuary, weather a bit groggy.

Image

Managed to get into the sunshine for a while at around 6,500ft

Image

A very good turnout at Tibenham, pretty busy. Did a go around following someone taxing across the runway at last minute. Didn't stay for long as I couldn't penetrate through the crowds in the club house.

Image

Mixed weather on the way back to Bournemouth via a landing at Booker.

Image

Back on top towards the setting sun. Lovely

That's a challenge that might get tested one of these days

Not strictly photography I suppose, but anyway, heres a video of our trip, with quite a few pictures from the day, including the busy clubhouse. See if you can spot Skyhawk-N!

Its entitled "mission impossible", due to last years trip, where we ended up at Lydd and then the bbq visit attempt, where we ended up diverted to North Weald.
