Reading the detail there are not PJE drops, it's Paraglider sites. Not clear if these are ridge sites or whether they are winching.

Time there was a new class for Paraglider sites I think - the hazard is very different between a gaggle of Paragliders in a thermal or ridge flying vs a group of free-fall parachutists plummeting earthwards at 120kt!

Check the contact phone numbers in the NOTAMs, you might find they are all the same, meaning they are hedging their bets as to which site (wind/lift) will be the best on the day and they'll leave all the unused sites' NOTAMs as active.....
(That said, I don't see any NOTAMs in that area.)

Paragliders also carry out cross country flights, some with quite impressive range. Our local Notam yesterday was centred on Rutland water but the largest collection of them was over The far side of Leicester.

They’re anticipating a series of Cirrus pilots panicking all at the same time. :D

IIRC these Notams were for the one day upto 5pm (utc) up to 2800 ft.
If one person organised the whole lot then someone needs to remind them it is one of the few north/south transit areas between southern England CAS so lining them across the gap is perhaps not the most considerate thing to do for other airspace users.

They're not blocking anyone's path. They are as entitled to use the airspace as any other aviator.

Notam, or Notice to Airmen, are indeed just information provided for users of that airspace. They do not prevent other users but merely inform of a particular event/timing.
Problem arises when a significant portion of busy airspace is Notamed and then not used, pilots that have given it a wide berth will not bother next time the same Notam is issued. If the notamed airspace is not being used then notam should be cancelled.
I fly in the area of one of these recent Notams regarding paragliders and did not seen one over the past two days.
