I'm reviewing the Cessna 172S POH Emergency Procedures. I noticed that the procedure for engine fire when starting notes that the parking brake is to be released prior to evacuation. Can anyone explain why this would be? I would expect it to be set.

Try that at Elstree! (if you haven't got anyone else to put chocks in for you)
