If the destination is Wellesbourne then maybe, as the OP'er, @TheFarmer could start a Poll for dates in September and whichever gets the highest vote is set as the day of the meet. If you can make it then great, If not then better luck next time.

Not sure if it's possible but it would be handy to be able to select more than one option in the poll.

If I am free on the date chosen, I will be there (wherever there may be). It just seems like we need a mechanism for choosing a date and place now... In the 'old days', I recall we simply told people where it was and when it was, and whoever turned up, turned up. Back end of September/ October feels like a good time window.
