When I was flying with LFC at Speke, it was Colts and Tripacers (possibly ex-Oxford, replaced there by C140s) in the G-AR.. block. Later it was C140s (possibly also ex-Oxford) in the G-AV..s. I didn't fly a G-B... until 1977

The apron and terminal building for the old airport are still there. There are some old aircraft parked on the apron and the terminal is now a Crowne Plaza.
