What are you planning? Where shall we go?

This year's annual Grumman bash is taking place at Gyor/Per (LHPR), which is in the NW corner of Hungary about 70nm to the SE of Vienna.

We've got a great programme in place, with a good blend of touristy stuff (wine tasting, boat trip, visit to Audi factory), flying activities, and plenty of downtime to relax and explore the local town and bars, plus the infamous gala dinner on the last night. We've booked out a hotel at very reasonable rates for the duration, so there is no need to worry about finding accommodation for the event itself.

There'll be Grummans from all over Europe in attendance - we're expecting over eighty people in all - so it's a great opportunity to get to meet enthusiasts not just from the UK, but elsewhere - a friendlier bunch of aero-minded individuals you couldn't hope to meet.

The programme is based on people arriving during afternoon Thursday 6th and departing am Monday 10th, and costs 225€ per person. This includes snacks on arrival, two evening meals (including Gala Dinner), two lunches and trips. The hotel is 78€ per night for a double room, or 53€ for a single.

There'll be a whole swarm making their way down from the UK, so there'll be plenty of help on offer with planning if required if you've never ventured that far, and equally the opportunity is there to join one of the sub-swarms and join up for the overnight stops to and from the venue. Some of us may well extend the trip by a few days and do a bit of touring while we're down there, so that's an option as well.

Let me know by PM/email if you are interested and I can send you the administrative blurb.

(FTAOD this is all about pilots and enthusiasts of the AA1x/AA5x/AG5B/GA7 GA aeroplanes, not the warbirds or amphibians!)
