Even aged 9 I knew I wanted to fly. So looking up at the inscription on the wall of my school I knew exactly the magnitude of the former pupils's achievement.

My Stinson is 80 this year, just 20 years younger than Alcock and Brown's flight.

Thank you Kanga for promoting the correct transatlantic flight history.

So many people misconstrue who the first transatlantic flyers were; particularly our American cousins :roll: . (this screenshot taken two minutes ago):



The second link (in blue) in the above image does refer to the Alcock & Brown flight...I'm just disappointed that it is not the first in Google.

So my hat off to you both.
