For many of us it looks set to be a fine pre-spring weekend. Fog is going to be a problem for some, bits of rain in the west as well.

WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST

SATURDAY
----------------
High pressure is to the east with low pressure to the west. A weak cold front is going to be crossing Ireland and will reach western Scotland, western Wales and the far southwest of England by the end of the afternoon. Patchy rain from the front in Ireland and western Scotland, this dying away as it moves into the far west of England and Wales by the afternoon.
Elsewhere some dense fog patches to start the day through much of England and Wales. These will be clearing, but they may take some time to clear everywhere. Once they have the day will be fine with plenty of sunshine.
Winds S-SE 7-10kt (f3) for much of England and Wales, SW 14-18kt (F4-F5) in the west.

SUNDAY
------------
Little change on Sunday with high pressure staying to the east.
There will be morning fog patches again on Sunday morning, these dense, especially over parts of Wales, central and southern England. The fog patches slow to clear from some areas, but they should eventually go to reveal another fair day with good spells of sunshine.
Tending to be cloudier in southern and eastern Ireland with the risk of some low cloud, drizzle and coastal mist here. Brighter in the north.
Winds S-SE 7-10kt (F3), S 15-20kt (F5) in western Ireland.
