According to Nottingham Post no-one needed to go to hospital so that's good news. And looking at the picture of the a/c it's not one of the regular training aircraft of Sherwood Flying Club.

It would be quite interesting to know what runway they were on this morning.

I've always thought you don't have a huge amount of options for EFATO if on 27 before you get to the built up area. 21's better.

(The x is where it looks like they managed to get the plane down, judging from the pictures).

To me, that's a good result. Glad there are no serious injuries.

Other pics here - https://westbridgfordwire.com/nottingha ... on-begins/ (no obvious registration on display, but I believe that's a group owned aircraft)
Registration clearly visible on these pics though - https://westbridgfordwire.com/nottingha ... the-scene/

I’m currently in the Gamston area and there was nothing obvious flying over the house this morning, which there usually is when they’re on 09/27. Though that’s not definitive regarding the runway in use during this event.

It was bright blue with nary a cloud in the sky this morning, and a tad chilly.
