If number 2 is as simple as changing to point to a different DNS server then it’s a 30 second job if you’re otherwise happy with keeping Vodafone.

Had this exact problem when changed to Vodaphone last month, changed the DNS settings and now all OK.

In reality it probably won't make a difference to you as an end user, but as good practice you should change either the primary or secondary server to 8.8.4.4 rather than having both the same.
