The Eurofox is ver popular in France for all round use. Over 400 built I think and so very sorted as an aircraft. The foxbat also very tough aircraft go anywhere. Lots to choose from.

France is increasing microlight MTOM to 500kg (525kg with a parachute), so when purchasing it is worth finding out if the aircraft will be cleared to the new weight limit.

Get a high-winged one, with doors that open out to the side, so that in the event that you land out and flip the aircraft onto its back, that you'll be able to get out.

The only problem with red ones though is that their engine stalls more easily on finals. Especially if you’re in a twin seater.

.. and easier to load less mobile passengers, eg when flying veterans for PP .. :thumright:

[mind you, microlights would probably be unable to take a folded wheelchair and a carer as well  ]

.. and all passengers will have a better view when on a sightseeing bimble, without having to do steep turns over landmarks or their houses
