I recently converted my UK PPL to a LAPL but they did not give me a new Radio Licence. Is the Radio Licence I have with my UK PPL valid with the LAPL.

With the EASA PPL the RT licence is reduced to a short line in the PPL rather than a stand-alone licence. Is this the case with the LAPL?

If not then, as your old RT licence is ICAO compliant, I'd just keep going with it and challenge anybody (such as the CAA) to say that its not valid.

If you ask the CAA you'll probably get the Donald Trump response of 'nobody knows'!

Oops sorry about that It does say I can operate a radio in english. So I don't have to caay my old licence with me.
