Hello all. I am new to the forum. I was pointed to this Forum by the Aces-High gallery in Wendover. I have a watercolour/pencil painting of a Bristol Woodcock MKII, tail number J6988, by A.B. CREE (Angus Cree), painted in 1925. The aircraft is shown in RAF colours. With the research I have managed to do, this may well have been the prototype for the Bristol Woodcock MKII.
There are records for previous auction sales of aircraft works by Angus Cree up to £1800, but I am not looking for anywhere near that for this one.
I am looking at £200 but may well be open to offers.
I have no clue how to add an image here of the painting, so if anyone fancies talking me through it I would be more than happy to listen.
Well, hopefully this posts meet all the criteria to be accepted.
if anyone is interested in buying the painting, you can contact me at my email address of don.mcdougall@virginmedia.com
thanks!
