A place for regular members to sell their aviation stuff (non-commercial only pls, and no aircraft for sale)
Forum rules: Non-Aviation or commercial items are not accepted. The option to put items for sale here is in the first place for regular posters, if you are not (yet) a regular poster it may be that your ad will not be accepted.

Buyers and sellers should be aware that Flyer Forums or its parent company are not responsible for the articles put up for sale here nor can be held liable for any part of the transaction process - the usual internet buying and selling caveats apply and should be borne in mind when dealing with buyer/sellers through an internet site.

I learned to fly in 1991/2 in an aeroplane with 4 of these. When I bought the aeroplane (including the headsets) from the guy that taught me in it, they served me pretty well for many years. Gradually, due mostly to other peoples' carelessness, they broke, one by one, and eventually after a few repairs I pensioned them off and replaced them with two second hand DC 13.4s.

As beginner headsets, they're perfectly fine, and deserve a good home. Buy them someone, please. Whoever buys them (or anyone else for that matter) is welcome to the ones I still have for spares. They're fine apart from the boom mic attachment.

The good thing about Peltors is that they have a thin headband, so are useful when you're lacking in headroom.

They're also one of the few manufacturers who made generally available headsets with the correct microphone for the Bulldog/other UK military aircraft. I didn't buy one, I made my own headsets, but several people did.

There's no real reason for saying all of the above other than a bit of interest! :D

Though I have had no problem using them in the C120 that I now fly, I initially got them for that very reason when I bought a share in a T67M and they acquitted themselves well over the 3 & 1/2 years that I had use of that aircraft.

Hi Melanie,

Are the headsets still available please? If so, would you accept £120 for the pair? I need a couple of spares for the occasional times I have 3rd & 4th passengers...

Been reading the forum for some time but only just signed up as a member, so unable to PM - perhaps if you could PM me either way, I'll be allowed to respond!

Kind regards, B757/767 :thumright:

They are still available, for some reason I have been unable to reply to your e-mail.

DM sent.

Thanks,
Mel
