We have a Lycoming IO-540-T4B5D for sale. This was the engine in our Rockwell Commander 114 (G-BFXS) which was unfortunately declared an insurance write off in May this year, following a wheels up landing. We bought the salvage to use as spares for another aircraft we have bought. We don't need the engine. Obviously, it would need to be shock load tested.
It was zero timed in 2008 and had done 843 hours since then at the time of the incident (240 hours since last top overhaul). 6 new cylinders were fitted in April 2017.
It is currently at Little Snoring airfield and would need to be recovered from there.
