A place for regular members to sell their aviation stuff (non-commercial only pls, and no aircraft for sale)
Forum rules: Non-Aviation or commercial items are not accepted. The option to put items for sale here is in the first place for regular posters, if you are not (yet) a regular poster it may be that your ad will not be accepted.

Buyers and sellers should be aware that Flyer Forums or its parent company are not responsible for the articles put up for sale here nor can be held liable for any part of the transaction process - the usual internet buying and selling caveats apply and should be borne in mind when dealing with buyer/sellers through an internet site.

The Garmin GNC-420 is similar to the GNC-430 but doesn't have the NAV receiver, so is a GPS-COM only.

I bought this new from Harry M some years ago and it's sat in my spare room in the box ever since, never having been installed in the aeroplane, waiting for me to make a new panel for the aeroplane for it.

I have recently taken advantage of the EU 8.33 offer to purchase myself an Avidyne IFD440, so I'm going to put the Garmin 420 up for sale. If you've missed out on the 8.33 stuff and want a GPS-COM with 8.33 then this might be of interest. With this you can take advantage of all the new GPS approaches we're going to get over the next few years! ;-) (though it's not a WAAS unit, so no LPV as it stands)

The unit should come with an initial database update for free after installation. It comes with the terrain system too.

It's 12/24V.

I'm going to put it out there at £4000 but will consider knocking some off for mates' rates... ;-)
