The last amendment of the Part FCL regulation makes it possible for the CAA to authorise instructors to sign UK issued EASA licences for revalidation by experience (FCL 945).
The CAA grants that authorisation to any instructor with a UK issued EASA licence, but not step has been taken to permit instructors with a non UK EASA licence to obtain that authorisation.
It seems to me that any instructor with an EASA licence, whether that licence is UK issued or not, should be able, after a reasonable administrative process, to obtain that permission from the CAA.
