Scrap the 12 year engine life limit if used for training

As there are so few aircraft that flying schools can buy and effectively zero tailwheel aircraft that they can buy.
In Ireland the limit is 20 years.

Any chance of a reference re the Irish rule? Do they have something similar to CAP747?

I think, when M Light comes out (if it ever does..), that will allow 'on condition' use of engines in flight schools since it is an operation that while commercial, may comply with Part-NCO.
