Hello chaps, I really need help in understanding how to have my type rating revalidated in terms of paperwork with the UK CAA.

I have been a UK CAA license holder since last year. I am well versed in the paperwork and notification process with the Italian CAA. I know what forms need to be printed and taken to the examiner, etc.

I can't say the same for the UK CAA unfortunately and I would really appreciate some guidance. Is it all online or are there still forms to be printed?

I am at a loss and it's probably easier than I think...

Thanks in advance!

When I renew a class rating I brief the pilot on what they need to do. I am surprised this didn’t happen in your case with your A320 type rating.
Sorry that wasn’t very helpful but try contacting them, surely they should help you.

Upon completion of your Proficiency Check, your examiner should provide you with a copy of the Examiner’s Report: SRG1157 for single-pilot aeroplanes, SRG1158 for multi-pilot aeroplanes, some might use SRG2199..

If you’re a professional pilot who has held a UK licence for a year, you will almost certainly be on e-licensing. In which case, log in to the CAA portal and update the expiry date of your type rating entering the examiner’s details (found on the examiner’s report) and the new expiry date of your rating.

If you’re not on e-licensing and you have revalidated/renewed a rating with your licence endorsed by the examiner, you do not need to fill in an SRG3108. If it hasn’t been endorsed then you do need to fill out SRG3108. See latest notes here:
