Can somebody who has already converted an 'EASA FCL' licence to a 'CAA FCL' one (e.g. because of addition of a new rating or whatever) confirm whether the licence numbering format changed?

The 'EASA FCL' format is/was GBR.FCL.PP.123456X.A

The reason I ask is because when the requirement was announced and charging consultation initiated* I am sure that it was stated that the format would remain the same.

This is important for those with a "61.75 piggyback" FAA Certificate who, if the format has changed, will need to re-apply to the FAA (with all the faff that entails).

*You know - the one that was held last year and which then simply ignored the outcry against the demanded £77 fee (or £146 for pro licences) to press print for a double sided monochrome piece of A4 paper. :?
