Hello all

I guess this has already been asked so sorry if I’m a pain

Wanting to go into commercial photography with a drone

I am using a dji Mavic 2 pro

I’m so confused with all these companies trying to sell me various required licences and permissions here in Uk

Pfco a2 cofc ????????

Can anyone please tell me what I should get? I have registered with CAA and have stickers on my drone with a serial number on, and a unique opRear or number for myself, but all these companies are truly hounding me for cash cash cash and I just want to know what one I do need please

My reading of it is that from December you will be able to operate a DJI Mavic Pro for commercial reward with an A2 Certificate of Competence, which requires no practical training or testing and just an online theory test.

You must also have a Permission issued by the CAA before you conduct any commercial operations with your UAS

Guidance and policy document is here:

https://publicapps.caa.co.uk/modalappli ... ail&id=415

But I am only a recreational drone user and can't honestly claim to know much beyond that.
