Following a Flyer article last year, and discussion on the above in another thread, I have just spent some time trying to locate the relevant document as the original link provided within one of the posts led to a dead end!

Eventually, after much random searching, I finally found the relevant page on the CAA website where it states that the above document was withdrawn on 4th October 2018!

I had previously been led to believe that, under the above exemption, an EASA license could be used to fly EASA “G” registered aircraft in the U.K. only with just a self declaration of medical fitness.

Was I wrong or did the exemption only exist for a rather short period and no longer exists?

Apologies in advance, if I missed something!
