Hi all, a couple of quick questions...

Am I right in thinking I can still renew a recently expired SEP rating for a lifetime UK PPL(A) in EASA aircraft, using a self declared medical ?

I haven’t applied for an EASA Part FCL, any opinions/advice on whether I should at the moment?

Thanks in advance!

I believe you can, based on ORS4 1269 and ORS4 1283. Only initial issue of ratings is excluded (i.e. you need a class 2 medical).

I would check that your examiner agrees before you go flying as they may well be unaware of the temporary (maybe) exemptions.
