Someone I've done "copy signing" for today is trying to apply for LAPL(A) using CAA online form right now - seems not to work for him... in the drop down of licences applied for, using the only online licence application that he can find (via the same page as the paper 1104 form), he has an option of LAPL, and also PPL from NPPL-SSEA but not LAPL from SSEA - if he selects LAPL it assumes he has done a lapl full course and wants course completion etc and £159.... this is clearly the wrong application process but neither of us can find an online process for ssea to LAPL(A). Tips, links, etc welcome. I am not with him and trying to solve it using screen descriptions, calls, and texts!
