A friend has been temporarily grounded for a short term medical issue.
He has done way over the minimum P1 hours etc for Reval by Experience, but he has not yet flown his instructional hour.
His Certificate of Revalidation expires at the end of January.
Once he's done his "Biennial", he's been told that he needs to have a valid medical in order to allow a signature on his new Cert of Reval.
Obviously that could be a significant problem if his medical issue lasts longer than anticipated.
Can anyone point me to Chapter & Verse as to why that statement either is - or, as I suspect, is not - correct?
Thanks in advance.
