Who can certify your documents?

The CAA website says-
1)The head of training at your approved ATO
2) the holder of the registration at a registered training facility or
3) a UK-approved Examiner

My question is does a CRI who holds a "R" Examiner Authorisation count as a UK-approved examiner??

I see if you are applying for a SPL or a LAPL(S) Club Chairman, CFI or Secretary are certifiers!

I’m not sure there are (should be?) any R Examiners left? That has all been replaced by FCL945 privileges (which wouldn’t let you act as a certifier)
