Hello.
First of all, I’m sorry for any grammatical errors, I’ve recently moved and my english is not perfect.
I have done my class one medical checkup a few weeks ago; the examiner said that my vision was amazing, but they sent me to a specialist for a final decision as they noticed that my muscle imbalance was reaching over the limits.
And so happened, I travelled two hours to get to the hospital they recommended.
Once I got there, I had my eyes checked, the doctor said that I didn’t have any double vision, but he failed me because my eyes’ muscle imbalance was actually over the limits of CAA.
He said I would have 20% chance to get double vision when I’ll get old; I was devastated, I still am. Then he said something I was not expecting from him, he told me to give up on my dreams of working with airlines.
I found it inappropriate, the way he said it.
I know I can still fly, I know class two is not a bad option at all, but my dream has always been to have it as a career, to work with actual airlines.
I find a big difference between the two classes, and I can’t do nothing but just think about possible solutions.
Is there any? Any possible way to get the certification for class one? Any opinions?
This is what I’ve been working on my whole life, I want to do whatever is possible.
