I read that the above equipment has been given an FAA STC/PMA to fit into Certified Cessna 172/182 aircraft.
Initially, with more types to follow. The parts installation kit around $5000 in USA for aircraft with the obsolete Cessna Navomatic presently fitted, should be less than $10000 installed.
The recent non certified Garmin G5 and Dynon glass approvals were pretty fast by EASA standards.
Having been quoted £15000 for the far less capable S Tec 30 with Alt for my Cessna 182, lets hope at least for increased safety reasons the EASA approval similarly fast.
Perhaps shouldn't hold my breath!! Perhaps the time to transfer to the N reg.
