Hi, quick question for Flying dutch ( if you don't mind).
You advised me on this subject before, enabling me to get my Class 2 medical back - Bruce protocol test etc etc- and also writing a letter to my GP allowing me to get my NPPL as an addition to my EASA ppl A. Thank you again.
However the situation has altered in the expected direction.
A routine ECG has spotted my AF was back, it may now be ' asymptomatic' AF I.e full time ,instead of intermittant.
I then went to a private cardiologist for an ECG and that's what he said.
I'm 60, clotting score zero, fit and well.
His opinion is that I might need Warfarin or it's replacement at 65, but that it's not a problem now.
My Class 2 medical is in a couple of months, I imagine if the AF is happening that day then I fail.
Long story short- I can fly on my NPPL if that happens but only in the UK, I want to occasionally fly abroad in my permit aircraft.
Is a LAPPL medical/ license a possible route to acheiving that in these circumstances?
