I have been asked to ferry a Swiss registered light aircraft from Switzerland to UK. Can I fly it on my EASA or FAA licence, as Switzerland not in EU??
Yes, but I can't guarantee you wouldn't be arrested instantly if you had an engine failure and picked a field in Liechtenstein, I would have to check that bit.

Thanks all, that was quick!! With a Garmin750, and 650 onboard and my trusty I Pad with SkyDemon, even an old fart like me should be able to avoid Liechtenstein!!
Actually we are all assuming it is an EASA aircraft otherwise we would have to check if all the countries involved for departure and overflight allow EASA licences in non EASA aircraft

I shall just press on with the trip anyway. If I'm ramp checked, hopefully said Official will explain any of my errors in this continuing EASA licensing farce.
