Hi all,

Apologies (I'm a Newbie!) if this has already been brought up elsewhere.

I'm about to start training and am planning on getting the NPPL first and build up experience (and see if I have a need for anything beyond that). I believe that you can now do a Night rating under the NPPL? If I then converted to an LAPL does that carry over? Does it also carry over if I progress to a full EASA PPL?

Finally, if I wanted to get an FAA PPL for flying in the states, is there a method to do that from the NPPL/LAPL or is that only possible from the EASA PPL?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Regards

George

See here to answer some of your questions: viewtopic.php?t=101517
On the night rating for the NPPL, last I heard ( http://www.services.lightaircraftassoci ... f=5&t=5079 ) was that the admin process hadn't been sorted yet, but would be soon. Cookie will be along soon to confirm.

I don't think there is a way to go from NPPL to FAA PPL but happy to be corrected.
