Hi,

I understand that IR(R) instruction (but don't have a instrument certificate) and 15 IFR logged hours can be counted towards the CBIR but is this is SEP time, can it count to a ME IR? If I did the rest of the course on a ME would that be sufficient?

I understand the above the is based on competency and not just time accumulated and a separated ME rating would also be needed prior to starting the above.
I've only flown SEP but I have night rating and the requited hours logged.

Thanks

Dan
