Those images of the instrument stack brought back fond memories for me of some long-distance TB21 trips... I once almost did EGTK-LEMG non-stop. The aircraft would have done it with IFR reserves, but my bladder (output) and stomach (input) had different ideas as we approached the north coast of Spain, hence a brief stop at Bilbao. Happy days. Not a great aircraft to hand-fly, but a tremendous tourer and load-lifter.

Nice trip, I'm hoping to combine some altiport action with some Euro 2016 trips in June/July.

Need to have a match near Chambery so I can collect an instructor.

We did it in a rather less adventurous way; turbo arrow to Bron then hire car to Val Thorens...

I have just completed the courchevel altiport rating in my Seneca 111,if you are thinking of doing some altiport flying I can highly recommend 4 Vallees flying School at Albertville,the School is Owned by Alex ,Sebastian is one of the instructors I flew with them both and they are both very good instructors and a pleasure to fly with.PM me if you want more details
