Been getting around a bit in the old aircraft this summer, havent bored you with any, but this one was one of my dreams come true..... Flying over Derwent Dam, Ladybower and Howden reservoirs and over the High Peak yesterday with a pilot friend...fantastic trip! :D

About 30 mins flying in the Robin from where I am based.

It's quicker by air than by road by far, and the view is nicer, but if you travel by road you are closer to the Warstein Brewery for a tour and a sip!

Fantastic! I have been on hols to that area a couple of times to visit all three. I do like the Eder, its in a lovely area. Had a nice chat with the chap in the museum there at the base of the Dam...in broken schoolgirl German!
