Hop on a bike to Middelburg

Although we had been to Midden-Zeeland many times before, we had not yet taken the bike from the airfield to visit Middelburg. It is certainly worthwhile to do so.

Being a helicopter pilot, I'm not one for spending much time at airfields other than refueling.

That said, on a recent trip through six countries, we stopped at Midden Zeeland both outbound and return to the UK. What a great little airfield; excellent service/setup/food and quite relaxing. More airfields should take notes from them.

Midden Zeeland has a particularly good airfield restaurant, bistro style.
