Had my first flight in a taildragger last Sunday when I flew in the number two seat of a Jodel D119 from Wickenby to Breighton for their fly-in. Chris let me taxi and take control in the air (no take off or landing for me lol) and we took the 30 minute flight into the incredibly wide grass runway at Breighton.

There were loads of interesting aircraft and lots of people there. The lime drizzle cake was delicious and there was a wonderful atmosphere. I got to meet a load of new (to me) pilots and had a fun day out. I'll definitely be visiting again,

I took a few pictures and put them on Flickr (https://flic.kr/s/aHskW8PSS8)

I would embed them in the post but not sure how.

Very nice.
Glad to see G BJZN still going.

The difference between flying in England and flying in many other parts of the World is that it is a community of people who love aeroplanes and get on with it.
