It will be good to see the usual crowd back at the Ball (and a few newbies :D). Always a great evening, and with a very good cause.

After last year’s Aviators Ball @Home event, we are thrilled to announce that we are planning this year’s Aviators Ball as we normally would! This means with a Champagne reception, gourmet gala dinner, surprise live music, entertainment and casino, the Grand Auction and the very special Aerobility Awards, all at the Sofitel, Heathrow Terminal 5, on the 20th November… 1800 ‘till late!

You can buy individual tickets for £150 by visiting http://www.aviatorsball.com.

If you would like to book a table of 10 or would like to book a concession ticket, which is made available to those with disability and their carers for £100, then you can do so by contacting us via tickets@aviatorsball.com or calling Deborah Mills on 0303 303 1240.

The dress code is black tie or mess dress with medals.

So… Get the date in your diary and look forward to an amazing evening that will not only bring the season to a close in style but also support disabled flying at Aerobility.

The auction is open so take a look at the fab items on offer and place your bids. Top prize is an appearance on Flyer’s Thursday Live Stream :D. A lot of tower visits on offer this year :thumright:.

For those attending, a lateral flow test is requested.

Dear Aviators Ball Guest,

Not long now until we get together at the Aviators Ball on the 20th November and we can’t wait to see you there.

Before we do get in to a room together, we wanted to reassure you about the Covid protection measures that will be in place. We would also like to ask for your assistance in helping to protect the most vulnerable in the room.

First of all, the hotel, including all event areas, is ventilated with air from outside the building, with no recirculation taking place through the air conditioning. Fresh air comes in whilst the air in the room is expelled. Hand sanitizers will be in place throughout the building whilst high traffic areas such as bathrooms, will be cleaned regularly throughout the event. In addition, hotel staff handling food and beverages will be wearing masks.

For guests, masks are not required but of course anyone is welcome to wear one if they would like to.

As you will appreciate, a number of our guests are classified as ‘vulnerable’ in terms of Covid protection, so we do ask that everyone attending takes a lateral flow test on the day prior to arrival. If you have a positive result, we also respectfully ask you to not attend the event.

We know you will understand and we thank you for working with us on this.

Take care and see you there.

Mike Miller-Smith
