Question: what is majority's preference to visit between Assisi and Spoleto?

He means meat... A Restaurant that serves meat...

(For those unaware, last Raduno AE arranged for us to go to "the best seafood restaurant on the island" where the majority had the T-bone...)

I looked at the lazy persons' travel overview (Wiki) for Spoleto and Assisi.

Both look delightful, however I decided that this view in real life would be worth anybody's time to get there. It's a 1920s poster but still, what's a 100 years in that part of the World? :D

I would choose Spoleto, but only because I have been to Assisi before. Happy to (re)visit either.

My co-owner is away and the Breezer is likely to be on annual - might be up for cost sharing a PA-28 (eg Modern Air Archer).

Flew to Foligno on Saturday for initial contacts and organization.
Based on replies received main visit will be to Assisi.
For arrivals on Wednesday I'll organize a catering snack/lunch at the airport since on site restaurant is not available.
Details will be defined in April.
For who wants to follow, on Friday flight to Pavullo for the Flight & Fun meeting for lunch.

Hope to make it, 60/40 at the moment.

I have sold the RV and currently have no plans to replace it so it is very unlikely that I will be attending

I hope that other unforeseen events do not interfere with the trip and that you all have a wonderful time.

Thanks for all you have done,

Waveflyer.

Stand here on the forum with your thumb out, WF, I'm sure some kind soul will offer a seat. I might do the same...or if I can summon the courage to take the Bulldog (the seats aren't particularly comfortable for one, and I'm on a handheld radio, so looking unlikely!) then you're welcome to my spare seat.

However, Italy, 10th-12th June. It might be that this isn't a terribly good idea in the grand scheme of things.

Just chucking this out there.
