Just in case you've forgotten.
Next Saturday (24th Aug) is the last of the (in)famous Cherbourg BBQ's
After about a million years, catering for all of us famished aviators , arranging stuff and filling our baggage departments with wines etc, Luc & Edith are leaving the Airport for pastures new (fishing, grandparenting duties, mayoralising and whisker grooming).
This BBQ is their farewell bash - It'll be our chance to say thanks for all they have accomplished and for the friendships and bonhomie they've offered.
So - Don your lifejackets, file your GARs, gird your flight plans, polish up your French (actually not needed 'cos the Air Traffic are well used to our Franglaise mutterings).
BBQ time is flexible, but personally I'd aim for about 1200hrs BST (1300hrs CET) (if you get there early, don't nick all the good stuff
