Saucats 5 - (30/8 - 1/9) - Please Read - Updated organisation
PostPosted:Sun Feb 24, 2019 8:48 am
Dear all,
I have had a few personal problems this week.
On this basis, I am going to have to change the organisation slightly.
First of all, please do all feel free to come, especially since you have booked this in your flying calendars!
However, driving you all around as in previous years is going to be a bit difficult.
I will leave a car for some pilots to use when they arrive. Otherwise Uber is also available in the area.
Few comments on amended organisation :
1. For Friday night, I'll have to pass on the BBQ, but the airfield restaurant will be open : let me know if you want me to book you a table.
2. For Saturday night, I will organise the usual meal.
3. For Sunday lunch, I suggest a meal in central Bordeaux. Those wanting to stay on the sauce afterwards can then remain in the city centre. Good piece of news for this year, the tram has been extended to just behind the Ibis hotels.
4. It would be easier for me if we could do fuel filling on the Sunday morning.
Accommodation
I would suggest pilots reserve one of these three hotels :
1. IBIS Budget Villenave d'Ornon
2. IBIS Styles Villenace d'Ornon
3. Chalet Lyrique Gradignan
It would be great if all potential participants could drop me a line to contact(at)lingaero.com with reg and expected POB.
Best
James
