Hello London Flying Club!

Good news, I’m happy to invite you all to the next London Flying Club event, with a speaker who needs no introduction, especially in the sports communities – Rory Underwood, RAF fast-jet pilot who moonlighted as an England rugby player in the 80s/90s.

Not only does he hold the record for tries-scored, his business helps companies learn from and apply learnings from his unique flying/sports career. I’m sure we’ll get some interesting sports stories, mixed-in with the flying ones.

As with previous events, we will have drinks and nibbles.

The event is generously supported by Elixirr: the Challenger Consultancy

Details:
Date: 5 February, 2019
Time: 19:00, Discussion starts at 19:30
Venue: Elixirr Consultancy, 100 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DT

Registration: Please register here.

The venue is good and the cocktails, beer and nibbles layed on last time by the hosts were superb. See you there.

My navigation is pretty good but...

I've had a look for 100 Cheapside on 'Googlearth' but all I can see are shops, where's the door?

How smart does this scruffy oik from the provinces need to be?

If you were to come out of St. Paul"s tube station and head east along Cheapside, you'll easily find 100 on the left hand side. Just tell security that you are for the flying talk at Elixir and they'll direct you to the appropriate floor.

Dress code what you like but no manure aftershave .

It's the coroprate entrance, next to Massimo Dutti.
Was smart casual last time. It's a nice office space.
Dungarees and wellies may stand out a bit. :D
Gonna try to be there.

For the avoidance of doubt, I am not Phillipe, but I merely pass on his LFC notification e-mails in order to spread the word. There was quite a number of new people there last night :thumright:.
