An update:
We intend to organise a private visit for Rallyists to the newly restored Victor Hugo's house. This is the location where he wrote Les Miserables.
Also we have arranged a boat tour to circumnavigate the island of Herm, visiting the puffins and seals on the way.
Finally, we are liaising with the French authorities at Caen and Deauville to establish the availability of airfields and airspace in the vicinity of LFRK, which will play host to the "Daks over Normandy" event the same weekend (over 35 DC3/C47s attending) as part of the 75th D-Day celebrations.
