LAA Bristol Strut and Bristol Aero Club
The first joint club night of the 2018/9 season is on Tuesday 2nd October 2018, when our speakers are Angus and Fiona Macaskil, who will present "Racing for Rhinos".
The event was described as " The biggest air race in the World … ever". Apparently this turned out to be true, as there were 120 racing aircraft, flying over 300 miles of desert each day. The race was sponsored by the Botswanan government to raise the plight of the Rhino.
