On the 2nd June the Devon Strut is hosting our Summer Fly In at Dunkeswell (EGTU), featuring a Meet the LAA event, where we'll have the top brass from the LAA down to chat to folks and answer burning questions.

Excellent day out to a very well organised and well attended event. We had to wait for the murk to clear in North Kent before setting off but when it did start we very soon had superb visibility.

Many thanks to the Devon Strut for all their hard work and to the LAA hierarchy for attending.

Events allways seem to go well at Dunkeswell, I get the feeling that they don't try and over-organise which is a breath of fresh air, really enjoyed the visit, though couldnt find the flea market, where was it?

Nice to see both an Isaacs Fury and a Spitfire, both fine examples I was drooling

It was a great day - I really enjoyed it, met many of the usual faces, met many new ones and saw some people I hadn't seen for years.

The Devon Strut do it again! :thumleft:

Although we arrived in PST*, we enjoyed the remains of the day and the hospitality of the Strut in the evening. My last visit was ten years ago so (even) I noticed the improvements on the airfield. CAVOK from the get-go Sunday morning was a novelty, too!

Of note generally, perhaps: the cafe opens until 19:00.

Many thanks to all. It was a very good weekend.
