The '999' day and fly-in is a great opportunity for pilots and the public to get involved with Sandtoft Airfield. With the emergency services, displays, food and drink and trade stalls to experience! Hopefully the weather will hold out for a great day of flying and fun!! ☀✈

On the day we will be offering circuits for £20 in our Cessna 152 and Piper PA28 aircraft. Fire engine rides will also be available up and down the runway for £1.
Additionally we have 20+ stalls already confirmed and a variety of displays including emergency service vehicles past and present. There will be a demonstration of an emergency response to a 2 car RTC from fire and rescue services.

The Lincolnshire and Nottingham air ambulance will be attending, subject to operational requirements. Hummingbird helicopters will be attending and bringing in one of their helicopters. Swat cops UK will be in attendance with their American Police vehicles carrying out a variety of displays. There will also be drone displays through the day.

the program of events for the day has now been confirmed:
10:00 - Event opens
10:15 – Circuits and fire engine rides start
11:00 – Drone display
11:30 – SWAT Cops UK display
12:00 – American police cars display
13:00 - Drone display
14:00 – RTC response demonstration
15:00 – Raffle drawn
15:30 – last circuit and fire engine ride
16:00 – Event closes

The Yorkshire military vehicle trust will also be there with a range of vehicles.
A variety of food and beverages will be available on the day.
