For any Forumites intending to fly in (and I hope some are .. :) ), MP3 has just disseminated this in connexion with the hangars under construction near the 36 threshold:

"Hangar SE50/51 works

The next stage of the works associated with this project sees the pouring of the concrete aprons and link taxiway onto runway 36.

The preparations for this will begin today, with the concrete pour expected to take place on Thursday. This will mean that runway 18/36, runway 04/22 grass and taxiway B will be out of service during the period."

Shouldn't frustrate many, and it's nice to have a GA aerodrome confident enough to invest in several new, large, hangars .. :thumright:
