3rd Sept - Kirkbride Open Day & Fly-In

On Sunday 3rd September Kirkbride (10 miles west of Carlisle) will be holding it's annual Fly-In. As usual all types are welcome and we are holding the event in aid of the local Air Ambulance. We have been lucky and managed to secure the BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane for Flypasts and there will be a banner towing demonstration on the day as well. Just a reminder that this event is still going ahead tomorrow, though obviously we have lost the Hurricane we still have the BBMF Spitfire MkXIX at 3:55pm. Other aircraft due to visit include an Extra 300L, RV-8 "Tiger", Bucker Jungmann, Wildcat Team and not forgetting the banner towing demo during the day too.
