Hi all, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of May, we at City Airport (Manchester Barton) are hosting our summer weekend fly-in.
Unlike other fly-in events, there is no timescale for arrivals and departures (as long as they are within our opening hours) and are offering you free landings and overnight parking (with camping if you so wish).
The airfield has recently undergone some re-grading works of its Runways and taxiways, so if you wish to come and try out our improved smooth grass runways then now is your chance (did I mention for free?!)
I have attached the poster to this link and also one for some guidance to the local airspace for those whose first time it might be flying the Manchester Low-Level Route / Manchester CTR.
